    I am SO new to web design. So, if you could just answer a few of my questions, it would be great.
    1. What is inside the download of Jquery? Codes?
    2. Is something in the download that you must have on your computer before jquery codes will work on your websites?
    3. Is there a simple code for accessing images from another page without loading a new page? That is what I am searching for.

    I thought that instant dynamic updating was coded with CSS, Scala or even Ruby on Rails?

    For instance, the nav bar on top of this youtube video where you slide through videos by click the arrows is that JQuery? or something else? Does anybody know?

    It is just too complicated.You can make the same thing in JOOMLA by 2 clicks…without any code.
    I love code more then joomla,but i am just real….

    I’m such a noob, that I can’t even download it. when I try and hit download, a load of code comes up in my browser. I’m using Firefox. I’m wondering if they are having problems their side, or I’m just being an idiot?

    @Dmanlamius76 you did it right. you should select all the code with Ctrl+A and then copy it with Ctrl+c. Open a new txt document . you can do this with right click on the desktop and click new text document. paste all the code with Ctrl+v and save it. After saving it. give a name like jqurey.txt and then change the extention to jqurey.js

    now you are ready to make the index.html . and keep the video and everything should work.

    so I download a 70k library, type a forest of nested function calls, and this shows me the brevity and power of JQuery? not so far it doesn’t. and great tutorial but please buy a decent mike, please :-D
